  1. From "Rick" :

Chris, any thoughts on doing a Bourbon County Barleywine show? The BCBS base beer is very limited here in Michigan (although I’ve personally been lucky enough to try it a few times), and the variants are almost non-existent here, including the Barleywine, but I’d love to hear your tasting notes.

    Cheers!

  2. From "AL" :

    Chris,
I was the guy from Connecticut that missed out on the variants. I did however get a 2010 Night Stalker. I have to give you a big thanks. I wasn’t going to buy it because I thought it was a 2012. You hinted that I wanted it. You were right. I drank it the night before it’s 5th birthday and it was amazing. I did get all of this years variants and a couple of older variants while I was in Chicago, so I guess not getting a variant at your store was good thing. What do you think of OEC? Have you had any of them?

Thanks for running a great store,
    AL

    • From "ChrisQ" :

Thanks Al! I’ve had a few of the OEC offerings. If it’s the place I’m thinking of, they’re somehow associated with B. United, correct? My favorite was a De Glazen Toren Dark Belgian ale that was barrel aged and soured. It was pretty intense and very good.

      Thanks again!

      -Chris
