I should also mention Sebago Brewing, Peak Organic, and Gritty McDuff’s are also located in Portland, Maine.

    Chris and Margaret,

Just wanted to take the opportunity of your latest episode to say how much I enjoy the podcast. I am just getting into craft beers and appreciate the knowledge you both impart. Yours are by far the best and most enjoyable reviews I have come across. Your love of beer is evident and wonderful to see for someone new to the craft beer world. Thanks and keep up the great work.

      Hi Jeremy,
Glad you like the show, and also very glad to hear that you’re enjoying craft beers! If you haven’t already, browse through some of our old shows– we’ve accumulated quite a library for the craft beer student!

On the topic of the whole subtle beer episode I believe it would be a great episode, but i’ve always seen the whole category of dropkick-to-the-face beers necessary for the masses including me. My nose and I are working on being able to pull out more details from the beers we drink and until I can really get down into the complex beers a beer that drives me off a cliff like an imperial stout is useful to learn the different smells in it.

Also the subtle beer label is pretty cool though, looks like an elegant wine label.

Subtle is the way for me. Please do more subtle beer shows! That one sounds yumbo
