  1. From "Russ Perry Jr" :

@castello: I don’t mind the blind tastings; what have we learned? We’ve learned that even guys really into beer (1) don’t always agree, and (2) are facing hard odds trying to guess what they’re drinking with so many, many, many beers out there. :-)

  2. From "castello" :

Didn’t we know that already Russ? ;)

  3. From "Jeff Van Fleet" :

I enjoyed the blind tasting, but the fact that they were 4 somewhat unknown and bad beers did not make it super intriguing. If Margret’s not going to be in the show have her pick them out. Even consider doing it with all one style, for example, 4 IPA’s that are widely distributed, highly regarded and then see which is the best…Just a thought… Keep up the good work!

  4. From "Margaret" :

Good point, Jeff. When the show was arranged, we thought I would be participating in the tasting as well, but our dining room table is only so big, and I didn’t make the cut. :) One thing we learned is (yet again) freshness matters! And it was sort of fun to taste some of these beers that you see on the shelf and wonder about, but never buy (now we know why.)
