    I just had a Racer 5 on the train two days ago (along with a Salumi Piccante sandwich from Pastoral, which was quite yummy). If they’d had Hop Rod Rye I almost certainly would have picked that instead; it’s been a while since I’ve had one. If I didn’t already have a fridge full of beer, I might pick some up…

    Margaret is 100% right Hop Rod Rye is a awesome beer. I found it in one of my favorite grocery stores and for less than 4 bucks for 22oz bottle. I drank it while eating a meatball maniara home made sub. WoW it was great. Thanks for the recomendation.

About the Temple

The Beer Temple is a craft beer store, owned and operated by Chris and Margaret Quinn of Chicago, Illinois. Chris is a Siebel Institute Master of Beer Styles and Evaluation, and also a Certified Cicerone. Margaret is a Certified Beer Server, and has completed classes at the Siebel Institute.

Monday-Thursday 11:00am-8:00pm
Friday-Saturday 11:00am-9:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm

The Beer Temple is located at 3185 N. Elston Avenue, at the corners of Belmont, Elston and California Avenues. Free parking behind the building!!
