    Castello, I’ll be the first to say that I don’t have a broad enough range in my ratings for beer. The highest beer I’ve ever rated was a 97…I guess I’m just afraid to say “this is the best a beer of this style can be”. Like you said, maybe the answer is just to go over 100!

    Have to second the point scale comment…in a way. I’m up to this episode and I have to say I’m not sure what the point is of your point scale. Thus far it’s an eight point spread on a 100 point scale. Maybe a future episode will explain the scale and your assignment of points.

About the Temple

The Beer Temple is a craft beer store, owned and operated by Chris and Margaret Quinn of Chicago, Illinois. Chris is a Siebel Institute Master of Beer Styles and Evaluation, and also a Certified Cicerone. Margaret is a Certified Beer Server, and has completed classes at the Siebel Institute.

Monday-Thursday 11:00am-8:00pm
Friday-Saturday 11:00am-9:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm


The Beer Temple is located at 3185 N. Elston Avenue, at the corners of Belmont, Elston and California Avenues. Free parking behind the building!!
