  1. From "James" :

I did a similar thing with someone, who was a professed wine hater. Great Show!

  2. From "Russ Perry Jr" :

I’m a little bummed that Robert didn’t like the Aventinus too, but that leaves more for me I guess. Oh, and to keep up appearances, Hitachino is pronounced more like heeTAchi-no (think “Hitachi” but with the “i” being a long i (“ee”) sound in both cases). Before you ask, I have no clue about “Bourgogne”; I have a guess but may be WAY off. 🙂

  3. From "Jen K." :

Wow, I’m surprised you chose a sour. I love ’em personally, but I got some crazy looks from friends when I had them try Le Terroir. Glad he liked it though! I’ll have to look for that one in stores.

    • From "ChrisQ" :

I think Duchess is a little easier for first timers to handle than le terrior (which is one of my all time favorite beers, btw). Duchess de Bourgogne is sweet and sour where NB’s stuff is often sour and sour. Just my opinion of course.

  4. From "Rich" :

Like many foods, beer is an acquired taste and best acquired when sipping the foam off your father’s glass. Not surprised by Robert’s reactions. I live in Berlin and find young people here who don’t like the taste of beer will drink radlers.
