Great show! I just found you and will be checking out the other eps. I loved the first episode I found from 2 guys twitter notes. Vimeo was a nightmare but it led me here and now I’ll check you on FB. It may be late but I think you could still promote a bit on DG and WLTV comments or the forum. Most of us winos love beer too! Your first episode really got me interested in beer again. I’ve just been drinking light imports lately and now I have to find the golden ales with wild yeasts and brettttsesess!

That’s great to hear, Castello. I’m a fan of Gary V myself! I’ll take a look over at his sites to see if there’s any beer related posts I can comment on. Thanks for the idea.

Wish stuff like this was available when I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras years ago… At least there was Abita (and the Dixie “White Moose”!) for local stuff, and a cool cafe with Belgian beers just off Canal, and Lager’s Ale House in Metairie (http://lagersmetairie.draftfreak.com/beer.pdf).

Two years ago, I was in Memphis for a sporting event. After a night of BBQ and brews, I hit the Marriott bar and asked the bartender for a local beer. He suggested Southern Pecan, which I rejected immediately for fear that it was too heavy after a long night. He offered to comp the beer if I hated it, which spoke well for the beer in my opinion, and I ended up trying it. It was great, flavorful and much easier to drink than I thought. A solid southern beer for a southern night in the fall. Good stuff.
